Dacic: Serbia is absolutely against Kosovo in UN

Serbia will absolutely oppose Kosovo's entry into international organizations where members' status is critical and we will do everything to prevent Kosovo from joining the UN, Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said Sunday.

"It's not the same as being a member of an international organization for medicines or even the Olympic Committee ... We are not in favor of (Kosovo) entering the UN - in any case, we will do all to make sure it does not happen," Dacic told Belgrade-based TV Pink.

Pointing out that Serbia sees talks with Pristina as status-neutral, Dacic said "we will absolutely oppose Kosovo's entry into status-critical international organizations," stressed Dacic.
