Jusko: Peljesac Bridge project incorporates Bosnia's demands

Croatia has forwarded to Bosnia and Herzegovina all documentation about the construction of the Peljesac Bridge and it shows that all demands Bosnia made about the undisrupted access to high sees have been incorporated in the project, Bosnia and Herzegovina Transport and Communication Minister Ismir Jusko said, adding that the final consent to the project documentation would have to be given by parliament and the Council of Ministers.

"What I've seen in photos, there is not a single ship that has entered the Adriatic that cannot pass under the (Peljesac) Bridge, from biggest cargo ships to tankers, sail boats and cruise ships," Jusko was cited by the Dnevni Avaz daily as saying.

The documentation on the Peljesac Bridge was presented by members of Croatia's delegation, led by Minister Oleg Butkovic during a meeting of the two countries' representatives last week in Neum.

The Bosnian Transport and Communication Ministry requested the said documentation after Croatia's announcement that the construction of the bridge would start next year.
