Official announces support for Croats in Bosnia's Serb entity

The director of the State Office for Croats Abroad Zvonko Milas on Monday stated in Orasje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, that this office would continue to support projects that could help Croats remain in areas of Bosanska Posavina and the Republika Srpska.

"The State Office for Croats Abroad will continue within its abilities to be a partner that will monitor and assist projects in this area in the sense of finding solutions and supporting projects that will primarily aim to keep young people here," Milas said in Bosanska Posavina after a meeting with the Prime Minister of Posavina Canton, Marijana Klaic, and Republika Srpska vice president Josip Jerkovic.

Milas explained he was referring to projects that would create new jobs in agriculture and continue previously started infrastructure projects.

He announced that aid would be given to complete the reconstruction of the sports hall in Orasje.

He then inspected the construction site of the school centre which is also being aided by Croatia. He also visited the county hospital in that town and other civil and religious institutions.
