Serbian PM sends congratulatory note to his Croatian counterprt

Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, on Saturday sent a message of congratulations to his Croatian counterpart Tihomir Oreskovic who took office on Friday, and offered partnership and cooperation in efforts to preserve the stability of the region.

In the congratulatory note sent on his own behalf and on behalf of the Serbian government, Vucic said that he hoped that the work of Oreskovic and his cabinet would be conducive to peace and stability of political circumstances in the region as prerequisites for much-needed economic progress.

The Serbian premier said that the new Croatian government could count on the support from Belgrade in that regard.

"It is on us to turn to the future and work to the benefit of our respective nations," Vucic wrote, wishing Oreskovic much success during his premiership.
