Several hundred demonstrators in Sarajevo express support for Turkish gov't

Several hundred people rallied in central Sarajevo on Friday evening to demonstrate their support for the government in Turkey following a recent coup attempt.

Demonstrators carried banners saying "If Turkey is strong, Bosnia and Herzegovina is strong too" and "Stand strong and do not knuckle under, Bosnia and Herzegovina is with you",  waving Turkish and Bosnian flags. They also wore T-shirts with an inscription saying in Turkish that they are with the people who stood up against the coup plotters.

Turkish ambassador Cihad Erginay attended the rally, saying that democracy has been preserved in Turkey and that the country is stable.
