8 Croat companies in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe ranking

Eight Croatian companies have made it into this year's Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Central Europe, which is twice as many as last year, Deloitte's Zagreb office said on Friday.

Those eight fast growing technology companies are Serengeti, Nanobit, Integracija od-do, Sedmi Odjel, Infinum, InfoCumulus, Acceleratio and Degordian.

Two more Croatian companies - Axilis and Osmi BiT - have entered the category "The Rising Stars".

"The Rising Stars awards go to those companies that are too young to feature in the main Fast 50 report, but have recorded such spectacular growth rates over the last three years that they are almost certain to be included soon. The overall winner this year is Polish software company Codewise, whose astonishing 4,555% growth rate over the last three years is not far off double the 2,506% recorded by fellow Polish software business CodiLime. Third place goes to Croatian software agency Axilis (464%)," Deloitte said on its web site.

The Central Europe Technology Fast 50 ranks the region’s fastest-growing tech companies, based on revenue growth over a four-year period. For the 2015 ranking, revenues from 2011 to 2014 were analysed. 38 companies are in the ranking for the first time, including those in first and second places. Software (29) and media (14) companies dominate the ranking.
