Croatia's exports surge almost 12 pct in Jan-Nov period

Croatia's commodity exports jumped by 11.7% in the first eleven months of 2015 compared to the corresponding period in 2014, while imports rose at a considerably lower rate, 6.6%, according to preliminary figures provided by the national statistical office (DZS) on Friday.

Thus, Croatia's exports totalled 80.55 billion kuna in the January-November period, and imports came to HRK 128.95 billion.

As a result, the deficit in the exchange of goods was 48.4 billion kuna, shrinking by 1.38% compared to the corresponding period in 2014.
