Four months to go and Europe's biggest electronics fair is booked out

Europe's biggest fair of gadgets and appliances is fully booked out four months ahead of the September event, organizers said Monday, adding that extra exhibition space will be needed to accommodate the companies in Berlin.

The 56th annual IFA consumer electronics fair, which runs from September 2-7, will focus on networks with entertainment and household devices.

IFA organizers held their international press conference in Hong Kong, which also acted as a prelude to the first Consumer Electronics China fair due to open in Shenzhen this week.

But this year's IFA is also set to recognize the rebirth of vinyl for many music enthusiasts. "Not everything has to be digital," said Hans-Joachim Kamp from the group organizing the IFA.
