The results of the state-owned Croatian Postal Bank (HPB) in the first quarter of 2016 are better in nearly every business indicator than at the same time in 2015, which was the bank's best year ever, Board chairman Tomislav Vuic said on Wednesday.
In Q1 2016, HPB posted HRK 83 million in operating profit, up eight percent on the year. Net profit went up 5.4% to HRK 44.6 million.
Household loans in said period went up 4.8% to HRK 400 million, with housing loans, accounting for half the amount, going up 20%. Corporate loans dipped 0.7%.
