Seasonally adjusted industrial output in Croatia down in Nov.

Seasonally adjusted industrial output in Croatia in November 2015 decreased in relation to the previous months, after going up for two consecutive months, and the EU, too, saw a decline in industrial production, shows a report the EU's statistical office Eurostat released on Wednesday.

Seasonally adjusted industrial output in Croatia in November was 0.8% down from October, when, according to Eurostat data, it went up 0.9%. In September Croatia saw the highest industrial output growth rate of all EU countries, of 5.6%.

The latest statistics show that industrial output in November decreased the most in Portugal, by 4.9%, followed by Malta and the Netherlands, which saw decreases of 3.7% and 3.1% respectively.

The highest monthly increase in industrial production was reported by Greece, 3.3%, and Slovakia, 1.9%.

At the EU level, seasonally adjusted industrial output in November was 0.6% down from the previous month, when it grew 0.6%.

Working-day adjusted industrial production in Croatia grew in November by 2.7% on the year, which was around half the growth rate reported in October, and almost the same rate as in August.

Industrial output in November increased the most on the year in Ireland, by 14.2%, and Slovakia, by 11.9%. It decreased the most in the Netherlands, by 8%, and Estonia, by 6.2%.

In the whole of the EU, working-day adjusted industrial output in November increased by 1.4% on the year. In October it went up 2.4%.
