ZSE Crobex index slides to lowest level since April 2009

The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) Crobex index on Monday slid to its lowest level since April 2009, while global stock exchanges are also under pressure of a gas price fall to the lowest level in the past 12 years.

The Crobex was down 0.74% to close at 1,576.47 points, its lowest level since 29 April 2009 when it closed at 1,539.29 points.

The specialised Crobex10 index was down 0.45%, closing at 922.79 points, the lowest level since 10 September 2012 when it ended the day at 918.24 points.

Regular turnover was HRK 11.4 million, which is 1.5 million less than on Friday. Five stocks turned over more than one million kuna each.

The biggest turnover was recorded in trading with Valamar Rivijera shares which turned over HRK 1.7 million. The price of its shares was down 2.01%, closing at HRK 22.40 per share.
