Croatian FM says we stand united in fight against terrorism

Croatian Foreign Minister Miro Kovac on Sunday signed a condolence book in the French embassy in Zagreb which was opened after the July 14 terror attack in Nice, and on that occasion he wrote that terrorism must be eradicated and "it is our joint struggle".

"In these difficult moments, the Croatian people is with you in your anguish," the Croatian minister writes, adding that the Croatians sympathise with the French people and the families of the victims of the terrorist attack that took lives of 84 people.

During his visit tot eh embassy, Minister Kovac met with Ambassador Michele Boccoz and conveyed to her Zagreb's message on the joint fight against terrorism.

The man who killed 84 Bastille Day revellers in Nice by driving a truck at a crowd had been radicalized recently and quickly, France's Prime Minister told a newspaper as a further 18 victims fought for their lives on Sunday, according to Reuters. In the meantime, the Islamic State terrorist group took over the responsibility for the deadly attack last Thursday.
