After the official visit to Iran, President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and Defence Minister Josip Buljevic travelled to Afghanistan for an unannounced visit to the members of the Croatian contingent of the Resolute Support Mission, Grabar-Kitarovic's office said.

A fourth Croatian contingent is currently in Afghanistan as part of the mission, which succeeded the ISAF mission.
