Govt. earmarks another EUR 1.45m for migrants

The government on Thursday decided to set aside nearly HRK 11 million (approx. EUR 1.45m) more for migrant care.

At the end of the last session before Sunday's parliamentary election, Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic recalled a recent UN award for the e-citizen project, aimed at making public administration services available to citizens, saying, "I congratulate us all."

"Our people didn't decide on that but an international panel, which says something. We are a little better than we were, others see it too. This the result of your work, thank you," Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic said to his ministers.
