HDZ: We will care for impoverished Slavonia and Vukovar

With the signing of an agreement for the coming parliamentary election, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and eight political parties in the Patriotic Coalition came to Vukovar to send a message that, unlike Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic, we will care for impoverished Slavonia and Vukovar which has suffered so much, the HDZ told Hina on Monday.

"We came to send a message that unlike Ostojic, we will care for this impoverished Slavonia and Vukovar ," HDZ's leaders told Hina in reaction to Minister Ostojic's statement with regard to a meeting of the Patriotic Coalition at a farm in Slavonia earlier in the day.
Ministar Ostojic on Monday visited the migrant reception centre set up in Opatovac near the town of Tovarnik and commented on the agreement reached in the Patriotic Coalition and said that "concerning yesterday's publicly expressed empathy toward refugees, that it would have been nice if that farm took in at least two bus loads of refugees."
