International Women's Club Christmas Bazaar opens in Zagreb

The International Women's Club charity Christmas fair was opened at the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre on Sunday, under the auspices of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

This year's Christmas Bazaar brought together women from 47 countries, which is the biggest number of countries so far.

The International Women's Club is a nongovernmental, nonprofit association bringing together women from all over the world residing in Croatia. The purpose of the Christmas Bazaar is to raise funds as assistance to Croatian institutions or groups that work for the benefit of women and children.

The International Women's Club does not make cash donations, but donations in the form of products or services. Visitors at the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre will be able to buy, for symbolic amounts of money, clothes, jewellery and food made by women from various countries.

This is the 22nd Christmas Bazaar of the International Women's Club of Zagreb. The event has been traditionally supported by domestic and foreign companies, embassies and the local community.

Visitors are also welcome to participate in a raffle.
