Karamarko: Coalition parties discuss cooperation

The Patriotic Coalition on Tuesday spoke with the heads of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS) regarding future cooperation, current affairs and personnel issues, First Deputy Prime Minister and Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) leader Tomislav Karamarko told reporters after a meeting in HSS headquarters on Tuesday.

Asked by reporters whether HSS, a junior coalition partner, would get two more seats in parliament as announced by the party's leader Branko Hrg, Karamarko said that that is yet to be seen. We will see, we have some agreements with them and that is an internal matter after all, Karamarko said.

"I think we've completed one stage of our cooperation. We won at elections, for the fifth time. We are very pleased with that, we formed the government...we spoke about current problems and personnel issues and the continuation of our cooperation," he said.
