Msgr Jure Bogdan appointed military bishop in Croatia

Pope Francis has appointed Msgr Jure Bogdan as Military Ordinary in Croatia following the retirement of Msgr Juraj Jezerinac, the Apostolic Nunciature in Zagreb announced in a press release on Monday.

Bogdan previously served as Rector of the Pontifical Croatian College of St Jerome in Rome.

The Croatian Bishops' Conference said that the date and place of Bogdan's ordainment would be announced at a later date.
