Number of employed people in Croatia in March down 0.2%

The total number of employed people in Croatia decreased in March 2016 by 0.2% to 1.334 million, the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said on Friday.

Data from the National Employment Office (HZZ) shows that 276,406  job-seekers were registered with the HZZ at the end of March, down by 0.5% or 13,023 persons from February.

The registered unemployment rate fell from 17.8% in February to 17.2% in March.
