Number of workers in industrial sector increases mildly

The number of workers in Croatia's industrial sector increased in May this year by 0.3% from the previous month and went down by 0.4% from May 2015. Labour productivity in the industrial sector increased 6.5%, show data from the national office for statistics (DZS).

The statistics show that the number of workers in the manufacturing industry, which employs more than 91% of all workers in the industrial sector, increased by 0.3% on the month and went down by 0.2% on the year.

Labour productivity in the manufacturing industry grew 7.5% on the year.
