Over 430,000 migrants have passed through Croatia since mid-Sept

Over 430,000 Asian and African refugees and migrants who are using the Balkan route in a bid to reach western Europe have passed through Croatia since mid-September, according to the updated data provided by the Croatian Ministry of the Interior on Sunday.

Form Saturday midnight to 9 am Sunday, 3,137 arrivals were registered on Croatia's eastern borders, the ministry said on its web site.

On Sunday morning, two trains with 2,100 migrants and refugees arrived from Croatia into the Slovenian border town of Dobova, and some of them were immediately sent also on trains to Austria, Slovenia's police stated this morning.

Since mid-October, when refugees' rerouting towards Slovenia started, a total of 250,000 arrivals were recorded in that country, with the average daily intake of 6,000.
