Over EUR 11m invested in startups in 2015

More than EUR 11 million was invested in Croatian startup companies in 2015, nearly 50 percent less than in 2014, Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator said on Friday.

In 2015, Lion Game Lion held the biggest startup investment, EUR 7 million, or 63% of all such investments, whereas in 2014 that was Rimac Automobili (45%). In 2014, investments in startups were the highest so far, close to HRK 22 million.

Broken down by type of investment, 28.5% was invested in the "web" and "other" categories, 25.7% was invested in mobile platforms and 17.1% in hardware.
