Pametno party satisfied with latest exit polls

It  was festive on Sunday night in the election headquarters of the Pametno (Smart) party in Split after exit polls released at 8 pm showed that the party would win a seat in the Croatian 151-seat parliament and party leader Marijana Puljak reiterated that she would advocate for a modern, open, educational, civic and tolerant Croatia.

We will finally have a representative in parliament because people have recognised us as their first choice, Puljak said, promising that the party will justify the trust placed in them by voters.

"Our representative will show what it means to be a member of parliament and how one should behave and represent the interests of citizens and not to barter or manipulate. Our member of parliament will be responsible and consistent, respecting the interest of citizens and not personal interest," she said.

Puljak is hopeful that by the time the final results are released the party will have won more seats.
