Petrina leaves HRID parliamentary group

Independent MP Stipe Petrina has left the parliamentary group HRID and set up his own group with two deputies of the Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU) Silvano Hrelja and Marija Ilic.

Hrelja told Hina the initiative to form a parliamentary group with Petrina was launched by the HSU.

A parliamentary group can be formed by at least three deputies.

Petrina told Hina his decision was not motivated by disagreements with HRID and its leader Drago Prgomet. "There were no disagreements," Petrina stressed.

Petrina and Prgomet entered parliament on the Bridge slates, but both left Bridge after the election.
