Petrov: I wish best of luck to those who can secure a majority in parl.

Bridge party leader Bozo Petrov has said that he wishes the best of luck to those who might try to ensure a new majority in the 151-seat legislature.

During his visit to Split on Monday, Petrov was asked by reporters if a new majority in the current national parliament was possible following a rift between Bridge and the HDZ-led Patriotic Coalition over a scandal involving business ties between HDZ leader Tomislav Karamarko's  wife Ana and MOL lobbyist Josip Petrovic, a friend of the Karamarkos.

Answering the question, Petrov said: "If someone can muster the support of 76 lawmakers, I wish the best of luck to them."

Addressing reporters on the margins of a conference of the European Federation of Ethical and Alternative Banks (FEBEA), he emphasised that Croatia needed ethical thinking and conduct.
