Deputy Prime Minister and Bridge party chief Bozo Petrov said on Monday that early elections were possible "if certain parties don't want to do the job" saying that Bridge was not a political pretty face and that a true test for the government would come this fall.
"Will there be new elections? New elections can be called only if certain parties don't want to do the job," Petrov told the press in Omis where he took part in a ceremony marking the day of this southern Croatian town.
"I hope that other political stakeholders realised that Bridge is not here to be a political pretty face, but we came here to do the job and this is our only interest in this government, if this is not done, then new elections can be called," Petrov said.
He also refuted speculation about a government reshuffle.
Petrov said he was confident changes were possible, He underscored he would like to see more work get done over the next three or four months.
"We know that the laws that ate most important are on the agenda this fall, the laws that we had fought for, and that will a true test for the government,"Petrov said.
