PM-Designate negotiates with minority MPs, no agreement yet

After parliamentary benches presented their opinions on the programme and composition of the new government, PM-Designate Tihomir Oreskovic, the Patriotic Coalition and the Bridge party met with national minority MPs, however, they did not come to any agreement.

"We had a brief discussion, very positive, it is going in the right direction, we're going to take a little more time and we will meet again tonight, nevertheless, we are going in the right direction," Oreskovic said after the meeting.

Two weeks ago, six minority MPs sent the Patriotic Coalition a joint programme and individual agreements, however, as was disclosed during the discussion today, they had not received any reply.

Speaking on behalf of the minority MPs, Furio Radin said that the PM-Designate had not shown sufficient readiness for cooperation with minorities and that they hoped agreements with minority MPs would be signed next week.
