President, parliament speaker, PM wish happy Easter

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic issued an Easter message on Friday to all Christian believers, wishing that the atmosphere of Easter encourage them "even more to promote mercy as a strength of society and an expression of a wish for a better life for everyone in our country."

Parliament Speaker Zeljko Reiner also wished a happy Easter, saying in a message that in today's world of suffering, disrupted relations between people, wars and crises, Christ "give us the strength to build a society based on solidarity, mutual respect, tolerance and dialogue."

Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic wished a happy Easter to all believers who celebrate it according to the Gregorian calendar, saying Easter was an opportunity to remember the messages it brought - life, hope and love.

He said "those messages give us comfort, but also the strength, confident in the final victory, to bravely face all the difficulties ahead of us."
