President receives Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion delegation

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Monday received a delegation of the Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of that initiative and they informed her of the initiative's achievements and plans with an emphasis on the completion of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway and other transport projects, the Office of the Croatian President said in a press release.

The delegation was headed by its chairman, Dubrovnik-Neretva County Prefect Nikola Dobroslavic, first deputy chair and president of the Abruzzo region Luciano D'Alfonso, deputy chair and President of the Tirana region Aldrin Dalipi, Istria County Prefect Valter Flego, Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Nevenko Herceg, Mayor of Kotor (Montenegro) Aleksandar Stjepcevic and the initiative's secretary-generals Francesco cocco and Luka Vidak.

The talks focused on the completion of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway and technical upgrade of the Ravena - Brindisi railway as well as improving air and sea passenger and freight travel overseas, the press release says.
