Ustasha salutes, traffic disruption mar Victory Day celebration in Knin

A group of about 40 men in black T-shirts briefly blocked Knin's main street around 2 pm on Friday, singing Ustasha songs and shouting the Ustasha salute "For the homeland ready!", which citizens reported to the police.

Some in the group raised their arms in the fascist salute and lit flares, and would not let cars, including a police van, pass through for several minutes. Some, visibly inebriated, banged on the cars and covered one driving journalists with flags.

The incident, confirmed to Hina by Sibenik-Knin County Police spokeswoman Marica Kosor, occurred during the marking of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Veterans Day.
