Croatian, Italian culture ministers sign cooperation programme

Croatian Culture Minister Berislav Sipus met with his Italian colleague Dario Franceschini in Rome on Wednesday for talks on the organisation of Italian and Croatian culture seasons as part of an executive programme of cooperation in culture and education in 2015-19, which they also signed, the Croatian Culture Ministry said.

The programme envisages the organisation of an Italian culture season in Croatia in the second half of 2016 and of a Croatian culture season in Italy in the first half of 2017.

The two ministers also attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding on a joint candidacy of Venetian forts in Croatia, Italy and Montenegro for UNESCO's World Heritage List.
