The pilots of an airBaltic plane decided to made an emergency landing shortly after take-off from Riga's airport after detecting a landing gear problem on the nose of the aircraft, the company said Saturday.

The Zurich-bound Bombardier Q400 with 67 people on board returned back to the Latvian capital's airport, where the plane landed with its nose down on the runway.
