At least 10 reported dead in train crash in southern Italy

A head-on train collision has killed at least 10 people and injured dozens in southern Italy, the Italian news agency ASNA reported, citing emergency services.

The two trains crashed on a single track between Corato and Andria, north of the port city of Bari, the report said.

Broadcast footage shows both carriages completely destroyed by the collision.
