The threat that prompted the evacuation of two Munich train stations was connected to Islamist suspects, a police spokeswoman says.
The decisive tips that motivated police to close the train stations came from French authorities, dpa has learned.
The threat arises from a group, which has not been named by police.
The Munich daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung reports that six suspects are the target of investigations by police, who learned of the possible attacks from multiple sources.
