Norway's Sundby completes Tour de Ski title hat-trick

Norway's Martin Johnsrud Sundby coasts to a Tour de Ski title hat-trick, becoming the first man to win the prestigious cross-country stage race three times in a row.

Sundby clocked 30 minutes 47.0 seconds for the 9-kilometre pursuit with the gruelling final climb up the Alpe Cermis.

Compatriot Finn Haagen Krogh was a distant second, 3:15.7 behind, and Russia's Sergey Ustiugov third on the final podium with a deficit of 3:43.8. That left no place on the podium for Norway's Petter Northug who missed his first Tour win yet again and had to settle for fourth overall after fading on the climb.

Sundby joins Dario Cologna as three-time Tour champion but the Swiss' titles 2009, 2011 and 2012 did not come in succession.
