About 97,000 visit National Theatre in Zagreb in 2015

The Croatian National Theatre (HNK) in Zagreb has organised 16 premieres, and a total of 247 plays and concerts have been held during 2015, thus attracting nearly 97,000 theatre-goers.

The HNK General-Manager Dubravka Vrgoc has recently said in a press release  that the schedule included performances in opera, ballet and drama and there were some other events.

During 2015, the HNK Zagreb has cooperated in six co-production projects with partners from France, Italy, Slovenia and local partners.

The HNK Drama offered 108 plays, and there were 68 opera performances. In addition, the ballet section had 67 performances.

The HNK Zagreb also boasts of a successful "Philosophical Theatre" project in 2015 featuring Slavoja Zizek, Saskia Sassen and Richarda Sennett, Thomas Piketty and Vanessa Redgrave.
