About 90 million nights and about EUR 9.5 billion in revenues are expected in Croatian tourism this year, including over EUR 8 billion from foreign tourists, Tourism Minister Anton Kliman said on Tuesday on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
"It's likely that we will markedly surpass last year's physical and financial results," Kliman said, adding that he expected about 90 million nights by the end of the year, about 10 million more than in 2015.
"This year's summer season was excellent," he said, adding that this month alone has already seen 9.7 million nights, as against 9.1 million in September 2015. He said announcements for October, November and December were excellent.
