MTV Summerblast festival starts in Porec

MTV Summerblast, a two-day outdoor music festival featuring some of the world's most famous electro house musicians, such as Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Fedde Le Grande, started in Peskera Bay, Porec, on Friday.

The DJs will be performing on a 300-square-metre stage set up just by the sea.

Tourism Minister Anton Kliman attended the opening of the event, saying that it marked a new chapter in the development of the festival scene in Croatia given that its organisers believed MTV Summerblast would become a leading European music festival in the coming years.

There is no doubt that owing to this festival, too, Porec will attract even more tourists, notably young people, said Kliman.

MTV Summerblast will be broadcast in 160 countries.
