Three-day Craft Beer Festival opens in Zagreb

The Craft Beer Festival 2016 opened in Zagreb on Friday, bringing together a dozen producers of this increasingly popular type of beer.

The festival, organised by the Gastronomadi association under the sponsorship of the Tourism Ministry with financial support of 80,000 kuna (10,600 euros), lasts until Sunday and will also feature various seminars, workshops and tasting sessions.

The opening ceremony was attended, among others by Tourism Minister Antun Kliman, Regional Development and EU Funds Minister Tomislav Tolusic and Enterprise Minister Darko Horvat. Kliman stressed the importance of domestic breweries for the tourist trade.
