Zagreb Auto Show to be held on April 5-10

The Zagreb Auto Show, to be held at the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre (ZV) on April 5-10, will bring together 200 exhibitors and feature three world vice-premieres and some 30 Croatian premieres, and more than 120,000 visitors are expected at the event, representatives of the Zagreb city authorities said on Friday.

ZV director Dina Tomasic said that 31 car makes, 22 motorcycle makes, 12 commercial vehicle makes and six bus makes would be displayed at the show.

The 14th Zagreb Auto Show will also be attended by two Croatian makers of electric cars and motorcycles -  Rimac Automobili and Doking.

The vehicles will be put on show on 70,000 square metres of display area.

The Zagreb Auto Show will be preceded by the Biker's Show, a gathering of bikers in Zagreb's central Trg Bana Josipa Jelacica square that will announce the opening of the show.

On April 9, Zagreb will host a procession of vintage cars that will drive from the central square to the Zagreb Trade Fair Centre.

The head of the Zagreb Tourism Board, Martina Bienenfeld, said this year's show was expected to draw more visitors from abroad given that Zagreb had become a recognisable tourist destination in the meantime.
