Turkish police are firing fresh rounds of tear gas at demonstrators gathered outside the Istanbul offices of Zaman newspaper, the mass-circulation opposition daily that was seized by the government.
A reporter at the paper tells dpa that dozens of armed police are inside the building and that the government-appointed trusteeship has removed the editor-in-chief.
