US citizens freed in prisoner swap leave Iran, says State Department

All US citizens freed as part of a prisoner exchange with Iran have been released, the US State Department says.

"We can confirm that our detained US citizens have been released and that those who wished to depart Iran have left," said a senior administration official.

"We have no further information to share at this time and would ask that everyone respect the privacy of these individuals and their families. When we have further information to share, we will."
